Kim and Dave, parents to these four beautiful girls, Mackenzie, Olivia, Kennedy and Avery, must be the human version of superheroes. Why? Because they are raising four daughters, for crying out loud! And they are doing it with patience, happiness and love. Hey guys, you want two more daughters? ;) Just kidding!

Mackenzie + Tim's Engagement

I think I have said this before, but it's definitely worth repeating. I always like meeting up with my couples for engagement sessions for a few reasons: 1. It's always nice to have some pictures of each other together at a time that doesn't bear the pressure of the wedding day, and well, you're not in your wedding attire; 2. I get a first hand look at how a couple interacts with each other and I can make a mental note of it for the wedding day, and 3. Based on that assessment, I am aware if one or both parts of my couple enjoy being photographed...or not! And through Mackenzie and Tim's Boston engagement session I learned that Tim would much rather NOT be the center of attention with a camera pointing at him all day! I don't know why though -- Mackenzie and Tim photograph super well and really enjoy each other's company! Plus, I think Tim warmed up to me after a while ;)

Mackenzie and Tim's wedding is this Saturday, so stay tuned for their wedding sooooooon!!

Bonneau Family

Who knew it would pay to know some Friends trivia? That's right, mom Heather answered a trivia question from my Facebook page, and that resulted in this sweet family portrait that also includes dad Jim and sons Jamie and Hayden. We met up at Roger Williams Park on a most lovely Saturday afternoon, much unlike the past few sweltering days we've been having! I looooove summer, but even I think Mother Nature could tone it down a bit! Anyway, back to the Bonneau's.....

Olivia's birthday is not today.....

....but it was on March 22nd, and how, you ask, did I forget to blog such an important event? I'm guessing because my mom brain is filled to the brink with information, both useful and useless, that is bursting at the seams. Plus, her birthday was the day before the opening of The Hunger Games, and well, you know....I'm obsessed. But no excuse, no excuse!! Anyway, do not fret, her birthday was celebrated in Olivia style with a dinner invite from Gramma and Papa, and popsicles brought into her classroom courtesy of little old me! She's seven now, and she's definitely a 30 year old trapped in a 7 year old's body -- sometimes showing a wisdom that's well past her years. Hopefully in ten years she won't think I'm the worst and uncoolest mother ever, so I'll savor the moments that we have now....

Spring Fever

I can feel it. Really. I can feel spring in the air. Ok, so I'm on my knees begging for it, and it hasn't even been a really bad winter. I guess you can take the girl out of the summer, but you can't take the summer out of the girl. And any chance I can get to enjoy some near summer weather, I will take it. I even made my sick kid who's home from school go outside today. I'm feeling one step closer to happy, warm weather.

It's Avery's Birthday!

I can't believe my baby is five. I know, it's not like she's turining 15 or anything, but five seems like such a big age when you have little kids, especially when it's your baby who is that particular five year old!

And just a couple of tidbits to round out this post devoted to my baby!

•Her favorite color is purple, and hopes that we can paint her room that color very soon.

•She looooooves to play Barbies, and has more than you can shake a stick at!

•She takes her shoes and socks off immediately upon entering someone's house.

•She is suprisingly strong for such a petite little girl.

•She's a juice-aholic.

•Strangers come up to us any place, any time to tell her how beautiful her eyes are.

•She's really loud. No, I mean REALLY LOUD! :)

•She loves dresses!

As I write this post, I am thinking I could go on and on all day about her and all her little quirks that we love, but I think I might just end here with a couple of photos taken of her today on her birthday. She got all dressed up, but it was cold outside!:

Sarah + Chris's Engagement

Sarah and Chris wanted to have photos taken in East Greenwich, which was fine by me.  I love that little town and I am always game to wander around and find new and interesting places to shoot.  Sarah and Chris were game too -- and pretty much indulged my every whim.  Now that's my kind of couple!  Oh, not to mention they are sweet and funny and love to laugh almost as much as I do :)

Sarah and Chris's wedding is next fall, which seems far away now, but I'm willing to bet it will be here before you know it, and I can't wait!!
