My Brother's Wedding!

If you're a photographer like me, you love shooting the weddings of family and friends, but sometimes you are torn....do I want to be a guest, have no responsibility, and just be free to drink, dance and do whatever? Or do I want to do the job I love, wear black, and let everyone else have all the fun while I "do the job I love?"  Well, while I love my job, it was a no brainer for me.  Guest please!!  Not that my brother even asked me to shoot his wedding or anything.  He was probably thinking the same thing I was.....guest, fun, pretty dress.  Ok, maybe not the pretty dress part, but you get my point.  BUT.....and a big but (did I just say "big but"?).....I cannot resist taking pictures at any wedding...ever.....guest or not....SOOOO......here are a few from my brother's wedding!  I was kind of just lurking in the background, trying not to be intruding on another photographer's territory, so most of my shots are from a semi distant point of view, unless they are of my kids, and well, in that case, they are right up close!!

Here are Olivia and Avery, pre flower girl status.

And posing with their uncle!

My brother Chris and his guys!

They wore some cool kicks.

Down the aisle....

...and now posing with dad.

My beautiful sister and neices

The bride and groom!  My brother's wife is named Michelle, which is my sister's name, my husband's sister's name and my best friend's name (who is also referred as an auntie to my kids), so now they have four, count it, FOUR Auntie Michelles!  Does it get more confusing than that??

Loved the vibrant simplicity of Michelle's bouquet

I love this shot of my brother

Our whole gang.  Aren't we a dashing bunch??

Here's Dante, my nephew, son of Chris and Michelle.  Isn't he a cutie?

Awww....

Ethereal, right?

Sweet first dance

Mother and son....more sweetness.

Sweet girls

Well, that's it.  After that, I was off to get my party on, so the rest of the photos are just silly and fun!!
So happy for Chris and Michelle!  Wishing you many years of fulfillment and joy!  (Oh, and more kids, so I can have more neices and/or nephews!) ;)
